what are yalls thoughts on the wisdom saga.

mine are:
spoilers up to the wisdom saga also TW/SA implications

  • legendary:

  1. Micos voice suits telemachus so much

  2. i like that he want to fight everything oddy is running from.

  3. the way mico says “cerberus” scratch my brain in a way i didnt think was possible

  • little wolf:

  1. the best song overall in the saga and one of the best ones so far

  2. athena saying “Oh, maybe I pushed you a bit too hard” is so funny for no reason

  • we’ll be fine

  1. i like the way telemachus doesnt know that athenea is talking about his dad

  2. athena saying " I could sleep at night" is saying that she now understand what odysseus said when they last saw each other

  • love in paradise

  1. the pause when odysseus says that he is married is so funny

  2. also i dont really like this song for the SA implications :face_with_head_bandage:

  3. the way calypso triggers the ptsd in odysseus saying “in my open arm” is so genius

  • god games

  1. apollo and hephaestus didnt gaf about this :skull:

  2. hephaestus part is the best of the song and no one can convince otherwise

  • other thing

this is my first post here, i realy like this place
i like musicals and videogames
and i would love to get to know everyone here

I agree you with you on pretty much everything! I also wanted to point out that in We’ll be fine you can notice how Athena doesn’t just hold the notes like she did before she met Ody and then Telemachus did the same thing but put his own spin on it which I thought was cool. And the way that Telemachus is all like “today’s the best day of my life bc I got in a fight and didn’t die!”
In love in paradise I love the introduction part where we hear a little bit of all the boses we’ve seen up until that part and just the way they all just kinda fit so well together.

I also like it here on pensta and it would be cool to get to know you as well!! :smiley:

Also how in we’ll be fine Telemachus says “if not his friend then miiiinnnee” and Athena doesn’t say anything abt it which just shows the contrast between her now and her in My Goodbye bc in that song she said “you’re not looking for a mentor I’m not looking for a friend”. I thought that was a cool detail to show how she has changed

Is nobody gonna talk about how vocally challenging Well be Fine is??? It might just be bc I’m a choir kid but that song is so good. I personally just loved to see a different side of Athena with that song as before with Warrior Of The Mind and My Goodbye are very similar. And then we just get smacked in the face with high notes that are out of this world and a soft side to Athena?? I mean that song in just pure perfection and you can’t tell me otherwise
