I suppose that when Philip melted into the terre, he could have been like a seed that would grow, and that is still alive.

so technically eda is hunter’s distant cousin which I think is cool

So in thanks to them we get the story of the wittebane (sorry idk how to spell the last name) brothers, and in the story Masha tells us that Evelyn dazzled Filip with magic and in her hand we see flapjack, so I think that with every golden guard flapjack always found them, and that’s what I think below also meant with “it hurts me every time he betrays me” and when velo’s killed flap he said “goodbye Evelyn” bc he finally got rid of the last thing reminding him of her
