So idk if there is more Polish people here to share this so i wanted to describe a little bit how does the show look like in my country
First of all i only have fully watched the 1 season of this dub but i have seen clips and also got some info from friends.
So first thing is name changes. I think its completely useless especially because the og names arent like hard to pronounts in polish or anything also not all of them are changed so just some characters have polish names and some dont and it can be confusing in my opinion.
Some of the changes include:
Amity- Anita (also last name changed to Plaga)
Willow- Witka
Bosha- Basia
Viney- Wania
Eda- Ida (idk why they changed just the spelling, but they also translated her lastname to Cierńszpoń which is a literall translation)
FlapJack- Franek (this just hurts my soul… they could at least change it to somthing that keep the meaning like i saw some ppl call him “Racuch” which lets say its pretty similar to a pancake/flapjack and i think its a cute name)
All of these were name changes to more polish traditional names, but there are also translated names like:
King- KrĂłl
Eberwolf- Eberwilk (i just discovered this on the wiki and its funny to me idk why 
)
Hooty- Uhu (i guess this kinda make sense beacouse the words that describe what sounds does owls make in polish are “hu hu” instead of “hoot hoot”)
Owlbert- Sowbert (also similar to Eberwilk haha)
Collector- Zbieracz (also hurts my soul.)
Raine- Szeptucha (ok this makes me angry because its taken from theyre last name and it just doesnt make any sense-)
Also with the topic of Reine we come to the second problem that is entireally about them and about polish problems with they/them pronouns. So i thought that they use he/him for Raine in polish but my friend who watched more of the dub corrected me that they use both he/him and she/her which is a little better but could be done way better. I understand that the use of gender-neutrall terms may be difficult because of the way the language is created but it is not imposible and i think it would be better if they tryed to use it.
The last problem is Lumity. So basicly idk if yall know this but Poland is known for being pretty homofobic, so i was shocked when the first lumity kiss and the confession happened. Unfortunedely in the episode “Eclipse Lake” the phrase “awesome girlfriend” was changed to “awesome friend”.
Se yeah that was all the problems i could think off with the polish dub of TOH.
